Jarred Vanderbilt returning for Game 5

The Lakers are getting a significant boost to their lineup as forward Jarred Vanderbilt will return to the lineup. Vanderbilt has been out since February 1st with a right foot injury.

Vanderbilt is LA’s best point-of-attack defender and is a great rebounder. His energy, defense, and rebounding will be pivotal in the Purple and Gold’s rotation.

With Jamal Murray suiting up for Denver despite his calf injury, Vanderbilt could play impactful minutes on him. The 25-year-old forward may also match up against Michael Porter Jr., who had 27 points in Game 4.

Vanderbilt's return could be huge for Darvin Ham’s rotation. Christian Wood is also available to play after being cleared prior to Game 4.
