Injury Report: Lakers at Raptors

Tonight, your Los Angeles Lakers (15-5) will take on the Toronto Raptors (15-7) in Toronto. In a battle between two 2-seeds, this is set to be quite an interconference matchup.

With Luka Dončić out due to personal reasons, are we going to see a team disjointed, or are we going to  see a vintage ‘LeBronto’ performance in The Don’s absence? Let’s check out who’s in and who’s out to get a better idea.

When the Lakers and Raptors face each other tonight, it will be a real showdown.

Lakers Injury Report

Luka Dončić – Out (personal reasons)

Luka Dončić and his wife are back home in Slovenia as they just welcomed their second baby daughter into the world. He’ll likely miss tomorrow’s game against Boston as well. Congratulations to the entire Dončić family!

Marcus Smart – Out (lower back injury management)

Smart remains out due to the same lingering back issue he’s been dealing with.

Raptors Injury Report

RJ Barrett – Out (right knee sprain)

RJ Barrett has been great for Toronto so far this season. His absence will be felt for them as they’ve been a completely different team without him.

Recently, guard Immanuel Quickley said, “The difference is, we’re missing somebody that averaged 23-25 PPG, can get to the free throw line, one of the top-5 players in transition, and also plays defense. We miss RJ a lot; other guys have to step up.”

Ochai Agbaji – Out (personal)

Agbaji is a solid young defensive piece for Toronto and will be missed. His name has come up in trade rumors connected to the Lakers this season.

Jakob Poeltl – Out (injury management)

Poeltl is sitting out due to injury management in order to stay healthy for their back-to-back. However, this is great news for the Lakers as they should feast down low.
