Lakers vs Clippers Injury Report

The first Battle of LA of the regular season takes place Tuesday night as part of the NBA Cup group play. As usual, though, with this matchup over the last couple of seasons, both teams will be somewhat shorthanded.

Here is the injury report for tonight’s matchup.

Lakers Injury Report

Deandre Ayton (Knee) – Out

Ayton left the Lakers’ last game with a knee injury that will also keep him out of Tuesday night’s contest. The Lakers recently signed Drew Timme to a two-way contract, so it is likely that he and/or Jaxson Hayes will help fill the void in the rotation.

Clippers Injury Report

Bradley Beal (Hip) – Out

It was announced by Shams Charania that Beal will undergo season-ending surgery on his left hip, leaving the Clippers without their former all-star.

Derrick Jones Jr.(MCL)  – Out

The high-flying wing is out for at least six weeks while he recovers from a sprained MCL.

Bogdan Bogdanovic (Hip) – Questionable

The Serbian guard who has given the Lakers trouble in the past is questionable with a left hip contusion. Bogdanovic has missed the Clippers’ last two games.

Jordan Miller (Hamstring) – Out

Miller will miss his fifth straight game as he continues to deal with a left hamstring injury.
