Anthony Davis Is Silencing The Haters

Anthony Davis has been silencing the haters with his recent play, leading them to a three-game winning streak.

AD is one of the most scrutinized players in basketball, as fans and analysts often hate on him, calling him soft. However, he has played in 14 of the 15 games this season and has taken over for LA in the last few.

The Lakers have been effective in getting Davis the ball down low and letting him go to work. Teams have tried to go small against the 29-year-old big man, and he has taken advantage. Davis is proving to the world that he is a top-ten player in the league when healthy. He can go toe to toe with any big man in the league, including Nikola Jokic and Joel Embiid.

AD has played at such an elite level that he is putting himself in the record books with NBA legend Shaquille O’Neal.

What makes Davis so great is his ability to take over a game on both ends of the floor. On offense, he can take any defender in the post and get a bucket. Defensively, Davis protects the rim extremely well, as he constantly blocks or alters shots in the paint.

While Davis has suffered multiple injuries over the last few seasons, he is putting the “soft” comments to rest. Davis has played through a back injury throughout the season and still managed to take over games. His injury has improved over time, but early on, it was clear to fans that he was in pain.

Davis would grimace on certain plays, but he toughed it out and put his all out on the floor. After what AD has done this season, fans and analysts should no longer question Davis’s commitment and love for the game.

This version of AD is unstoppable as he is leading the Lakers back on track. If he can maintain this level of play when LeBron James returns to action, the rest of the NBA will be in trouble.
