Christian Wood returning for Game 3 against Nuggets

The Lakers received positive injury news this morning. According to Shams Charania, F/C Christian Wood plans to return to the lineup for Game 3 against the Denver Nuggets.

Wood has been out with a knee injury since February 14th. Prior to his injury, Wood was a solid big off the Lakers bench.
He averaged 7/5/1 on 46/31/70 shooting splits in 50 games this season. His return will give LA another big to throw at Jokic outside of Anthony Davis, Rui Hachimura, and Jaxson Hayes.
Wood’s return gives Darvin Ham and the coaching staff more versatility with rotations, and he could be an X-Factor in this series.
