Injury Report: Lakers at Pelicans

The Lakers are looking to keep their winning streak alive as they have won the last 4 four games while facing the New Orleans Pelicans on a back-to-back road game on Saturday.

Lakers Injury Report

C Anthony Davis (Active / Left plantar fasciitis)

Despite his foot injury and latest injury with his eye, Anthony Davis will be active. Davis will be looking to repeat another dominant performance as he dropped 40 points against the San Antonio Spurs.

F Rui Hachimura (OUT / Right Ankle Sprain)

Hachimura will be out for the second straight night of a back-to-back due to his recent ankle injury.

G Cam Reddish (Out / Right peroneal strain)

Reddish went through his pregame warmup, and it was determined that he wouldn’t be good to go tonight. Reddish has been a big factor and has been in the starting lineup for the past couple of games.

C Jaxson Hayes (Out/ Right ankle sprain)

Hayes has been an important player in the rotation as the backup center, but unfortunately, he injured his ankle at practice. He will be evaluated in the coming weeks.

G Jalen Hood-Schifino (Out / Left groin soreness)

Jalen Hood-Schifino will not play against the Pelicans in Saturday’s game. This will be his third straight game that he will miss, and he might be able to suit up against the Utah Jazz on Tuesday.

F Jarred Vanderbilt (OUT / Foot)

Jarred Vanderbilt will remain one of the Lakers’ inactive as he heals from off-season foot surgery. His defensive versatility is anticipated to be missed by the Lakers until mid-November.

F Christian Wood (OUT / Knee)

Christian Wood is out because of offseason knee surgery. Until he returns in mid-to-late November, the Lakers’ big-man rotation will continue to suffer.

Pelicans Injury Report

F Zion Williamson (OUT /Left hamstring strain)

The Pelicans have not been with Zion Williamson since he was out indefinitely in early November. 

G Dejountae Murray (OUT / Shoulder)

The shooting guard Dejountae Murray underwent surgery in late October and is expected to return in approximately three weeks.

G CJ McCollum (OUT / strained right adductor)

Despite returning to practice earlier this week, CJ McCollum is set to miss his 10th straight game Saturday due to a strained right adductor.

G Jose Alvarado (OUT / Left hamstring strain)

Earlier this week, the Pelicans announced that Jose Alvarado had suffered a left hamstring injury and was expected to be reevaluated in approximately three weeks.

G Jordan Hawkins (Out / Knee)

Jordan Hawkins’s return remains uncertain. He is back on the court but has not been making any contact yet.

F Herb Jones (Out / Shoulder)

Head coach Willie Green said on Friday that Herb Jones has returned to practice but has not done anything with a contact yet.
