The Lakers will look to bounce back Thursday night against the Washington Wizards, who currently hold the worst record in the NBA. The Lakers will have to do things shorthanded, though. Here is the injury report for tonight’s matchup.
Lakers Injury Report:
Anthony Davis (Abdominal Strain – Out)
Davis suffered the injury during the Lakers’ last game against the 76ers. The star big man will be re-evaluated in one week.
LeBron James (Foot – Questionable)
James continues to manage a foot injury that has landed him on the injury report multiple times this season.
Gabe Vincent (Knee – Out)
Vincent will miss his third straight game with a knee injury
Dorian Finney-Smith (Right Shoulder Contusion – Out)
Finney-Smith last missed a game back on January 17th for personal reasons. He is now out for tonight as a result of a right shoulder contusion.
Rui Hachimura (Left Calf Soreness – Probable)
Hachimura is probable to face his former team.
Christian Wood (Knee – Out)
Wood remains out with his knee injury. There is no reported timetable for his return.
Jalen Hood-Schifino (Hamstring – Out)
The Lakers guard will not play due to a hamstring injury. Hood-Schifino has gotten limited playing time this season.
Wizards Injury Report:
Alex Sarr (Ankle – Out)
The Wizards’ top pick and rookie of the year candidate will not play against the Lakers. This likely means more playing time for Jonas Valanciunas.
Saddiq Bey (Knee – Out)
Bey is recovering from ACL surgery.
Malcolm Brogdon (Foot – Out)
Brogdon has not played since January 5th, as he deals with a plantar fascia contusion in his right foot.
Marvin Bagley III (Knee – Out)
Bagley has a right knee sprain and has not played since December 23rd.
