Lakers draft Bronny James with the 55th pick

The Los Angeles Lakers have selected Bronny James with the 55th pick in the NBA Draft.

Bronny will team up with his father, LeBron James, creating the first-ever father-son duo in the NBA.

Bronny played one season at USC. He averaged 5/3/2 on 37/27/68 shooting splits.

Bronny joins the young core of Austin Reaves, Rui Hachimura, Max Christie, and last night’s selection, Dalton Knecht. Rookie head coach JJ Redick will look to get the most out of Bronny so he can be impactful in his rookie season.

This pick marks NBA history, and it will be intriguing to see how the father-son dynamic between LeBron and Bronny works on the court.
