Lakers get blown out by Heat; continue to struggle
The Lakers dropped a second-straight game as the Miami Heat dominated for a 134-93 win. LA has to make a lot of adjustments moving forward after another atrocious performance.
JJ Redick: “I’m embarrassed. We’re all embarrassed. It’s not a game I thought we had the right fight, the right professionalism … I own this, but need some ownership on the court as well. There’s not a sense from me that we’re together right now.”

Anthony Davis struggles
Anthony Davis struggled for a second straight night after a strong start to the season. Davis finished with eight points, seven rebounds, and five assists on 3-14 shooting.
If the Lakers are going to win games, they need Davis to play at a high level. The team must do a better job of getting Davis involved early to get him in a rhythm.
Offensive inconsistency
The Purple and Gold’s offense has struggled over the last few games. Austin Reaves’ absence has contributed to this, but it’s more than that.
The Lakers have struggled to get into their sets with constant ball pressure from other teams. They will need to combat this and spark the offense to get Davis, Dalton Knecht, and others going.
Lakers’ Lack of depth
Another issue that LA has faced amid injuries to rotational players is their lack of depth. If they want to be contenders, the front office must make some moves to upgrade the roster.
The Lakers will look to bounce back on Friday in Atlanta against the Hawks.
