Lakers Injury Report vs. Bulls
The Lakers (27-17) will be looking to get their first win over the Chicago Bulls (23-22) in two years, as the teams collide on Monday night.
It will be a tough task for Los Angeles while the Bulls look to extend their four-game winning streak in the contest.
Both teams are dealing with key injuries heading into the contest. Let’s break down each of them:
Lakers
Jake LaRavia picked up a new injury ahead of Monday. The 24-year-old suffered a quad contusion in the Lakers’ 116-110 win over the Dallas Mavericks on Saturday.
After originally being listed as questionable, LaRavia will be available for the Lakers. He’s drawn 14 straight starts for Los Angeles, so expect him to do the same tonight.
Austin Reaves is still recovering from the calf strain he suffered back on Christmas night and is listed as out for the contest.
Although the Lakers announced that Reaves is in line to return at some point during their eight-game road trip, Monday will not be the night for him.
His next chance to play will be on Wednesday against the Cleveland Cavaliers.
Adou Thiero is also close to returning from the MCL sprain he suffered at the end of December.
The 2025 second-round pick out of Arkansas will also miss Monday’s game. With the original four-week injury timeline that was given to him, he should be back at some point within this week.
Bulls
Tre Jones missed the Bulls’ 114-111 win over the Boston Celtics as he recovers from a hamstring strain. The 26-year-old has caught fire over January, averaging 12.2 points and 7.4 assists while adding 1.1 steals per game.
He is listed as out and will miss his second straight game.
Zach Collins suffered a toe strain in late December that has resulted in him missing the past 14 games.
He will miss Monday’s contest while not having an exact timeline to return for the Bulls.
Noa Essengue underwent season-ending shoulder surgery in December and is listed as out.
Yuki Kawamura and Emanuel Miller are also listed as out for the Bulls while playing in the G League.
