
Lakers vs. Mavericks Injury Report
An injury-plagued Los Angeles Lakers (50-27) will look to adjust for the final week of the season in a matchup against the Dallas Mavericks (24-53) on Easter Sunday.
When things started to look right, the Lakers were dealt multiple unfortunate injuries to key players in their blowout loss to the Oklahoma City Thunder on Thursday.
The official NBA injury report has provided injury updates to each team heading into the contest:
Lakers Injury Report
Luka Doncic – Out (hamstring strain)
Doncic suffered a Grade 2 hamstring strain in the Lakers’ loss to the Oklahoma City Thunder on Thursday. He will be out for the remainder of the regular season and could be on the verge of being sidelined for the playoffs.
Austin Reaves – Out (oblique strain)
Similar to Doncic, Austin Reaves suffered an oblique strain in the Lakers’ loss to the Thunder last Thursday. The injury is labeled as Grade 2 and will also miss the final week of the regular season. ESPN’s Shams Charania said that Reaves is expected to miss four to six weeks.
Marcus Smart – Out (ankle contusion)
Smart will miss his sixth straight game while still dealing with his ankle injury. The veteran guard is another key piece to the Lakers’ depleting backcourt.
Jarred Vanderbilt – Available (calf soreness)
Although Vanderbilt is dealing with soreness in his calf, he will be available for JJ Redick and the Lakers on Sunday.

Marvin Bagley III – Probable (shoulder impingement)
John Poulakidas – Probable (G League)
Moussa Cisse – Questionable (G League)
Caleb Martin – Out (plantar fascia)
Tyler Smith – Questionable (back spasms)
Kyrie Irving (ACL surgery) and Dereck Lively II (foot surgery) are also ruled out for the rest of the 2025-26 season.
