Lakers vs Hornets Pregame Report
The Lakers continue their season tonight in Charlotte to face the Hornets at Spectrum Center. Tip-off is set for 7 pm EST as Los Angeles looks to bounce back from their tough loss Saturday night against the Hawks.
The Hornets, on the other hand, are looking for consistency after a rocky start to the season.
Tonight is a PRIME opportunity to get back in the W column 👀

Lakers look to regain rhythm
The Lakers’ offense has been pretty strong through the opening 10 games, but tonight’s focus will be on energy and execution. They need to get back to the ball movement, pace, and defensive focus. That is what’s carried them through the first few weeks of the season.
Luka continues to lead the way, doing a bit of everything for Los Angeles. When he’s in control of the tempo, the offense seems to flow naturally. Having Austin Reaves back after a three-game absence will also be incredibly helpful.
Setting the tone defensively
Defense will be the key tonight. The Hornets are a young, fast team that shows out, especially at home. The Lakers will need to avoid giving Charlotte any easy chances.
If Los Angeles can control the boards and limit early offense, it’ll make things so much easier against a Hornets team that thrives on rhythm and confidence.
Getting back on track
This matchup could be a great chance for the Lakers to reset. Charlotte’s young core can make things interesting, but Los Angeles has the experience and depth to take control if they plays to their identity.
If we can move the ball, defend with purpose, and bring the right energy, they should be able to bounce back and secure win number 8 of the season.
