Lakers vs. Suns Injury Report

The Los Angeles Lakers (51-29) travel back to Crypto.com Arena on Friday night to take on the Phoenix Suns (44-36) in the second half of a back-to-back.

Los Angeles was able to pick up their first win since losing Luka Doncic and Austin Reaves for the regular season. The Lakers beat the Golden State Warriors 119-103 on Thursday.

Friday’s test will be without much superstar talent. Both teams will look to prepare for the postseason that begins next week.

Lakers Injury Report

Luka Doncic – Out (hamstring strain)

Doncic remains out for the rest of the regular season while rehabbing a Grade 2 hamstring strain.

Austin Reaves – Out (oblique strain)

Reaves also remains sidelined after being diagnosed with a Grade 2 oblique strain that was suffered in the loss to the Oklahoma City Thunder on April 2. He’s expected to miss three to five more weeks with the setback.

Jaxson Hayes – Out (left foot injury management)

Hayes will miss his third straight game while dealing with his foot injury. His next chance to play will be in the regular season finale on Sunday against the Utah Jazz.

Luke Kennard – Available (left finger injury management)

Kennard is available on the second night of a back-to-back.

Marcus Smart – Available (right ankle contusion)

Smart will be returning for the Lakers on Friday after an eight-game absence, resulting from an ankle injury. While Los Angeles deals with injuries to starters, Smart will likely re-enter the starting lineup against the Suns.

Jaylen Green – Out (right knee soreness)

Devin Booker – Out (right ankle injury management)

Jordan Goodwin – Out (left ankle sprain)

Haywood Highsmith – Out (right knee injury management)
