LeBron James receives big raise from Michael Jordan

In a rare moment of admiration, NBA legend Michael Jordan praised LeBron James, stating, “LeBron James could play in ANY era.” The comment, shared by former NBA player Jayson Williams on Scoop B Radio, occurred during a golf outing five months ago, as reported on March 31, 2025.

Williams, a close friend of Jordan, recalled the conversation, highlighting Michael Jordan’s belief in James’s ability to adapt to any basketball era, from the physical 1990s to today’s fast-paced game.

This endorsement fuels the ongoing GOAT debate, often pitting Jordan’s six championships against James’s four and his all-time scoring record.

This news came out after LeBron James was a guest on Pat McAfee, where he talked about his relationship with Jordan and said he is looking forward to developing a relationship with him once he retires.

This praise comes at a pivotal time. James, now 40 and in his 22nd season, has guided the Lakers to a 46-29 record, securing a strong playoff position in the Western Conference. Jordan’s words validate James’ versatility and boost team morale as they eye a deep postseason run.
