Injury Report: Jazz at Lakers

The Lakers will look to extend their season-long winning streak tonight as they take on the Utah Jazz at home. Los Angeles is coming off a 104-99 win on the road against the New Orleans Pelicans.

Lakers Injury Report

Anthony Davis (Active/Left Plantar Fasciitis)

Davis has been banged up since the beginning of the season, but that has not hindered his in-game performance. Davis is currently 2nd in the league in scoring, averaging 31 points per game, along with 11 rebounds and two blocks.

Rui Hachimura (Out/Left Ankle Sprain)

Hachimura has been dealing with a nagging ankle injury. He did not participate in practice on Monday and is listed as out for tonight’s game. Cam Reddish will start in his place.

Bronny James (Out/Left Heel Soreness)

This marks the first time that James has appeared on the injury report this season. He has not garnered much playing time this season, so his injury should not have an impact on tonight’s rotation.

Jalen Hood-Schifino (Out/Left Hamstring Strain)

Hood-Schifino has dealt with groin and hamstring injuries to begin the season. He has been splitting his time with the G-League team and the NBA squad.

Jaxson Hayes (Out/Right Ankle Sprain)

Hayes has been out for a few games now as he is recovering from an ankle sprain. He has served as the backup center this season and will re-evaluated in a few weeks. Christian Koloko will continue to backup Davis.

Jarred Vanderbilt (Out/Foot)

Vanderbilt is still recovering from offseason procedures on his feet. He is the Lakers’ best perimeter defender, and coach JJ Redick still has no updates regarding a timeline for returning to action.

Christian Wood (Out/Knee)

Wood also underwent a knee procedure this offseason. He suffered a setback in his recovery and will be re-evaluated in the coming week.

Jazz Injury Report

Walker Kessler (Out/Hip)

Kessler has been dealing with right hip bursitis and has not played since Nov. 9. He will not take the floor tonight against Los Angeles.

Taylor Hendricks (Out/Leg)

Hendricks suffered a season-ending injury to his right leg and ankle. He underwent surgery, and there is no timeline for his return.
