Lakers Injury Report
Rui Hachimura (Out – Left Ankle Sprain)
Hachimura remains out with an ankle injury. Dalton Knecht will start in his place, but JJ Redick said Hachimura will start when he returns.
Bronny James (Out – Left Heel Soreness)
Bronny will miss a second straight game as he deals with left heel soreness. He is not in the rotation, and his absence shouldn’t affect LA.
Jalen Hood-Schifino (Out – Left Hamstring Strain)
Hood-Schifino remains out with a left hamstring strain. The second-year guard is not a part of the rotation as he’s splitting time between the NBA and G-League.
Jaxson Hayes (Out – Right Ankle Sprain)
Hayes remains out with an ankle sprain. With Hayes out, Christian Koloko will continue operating as the backup center behind Anthony Davis.
Jarred Vanderbilt (Out – Foot)
Vanderbilt is still recovering from surgery this offseason but has not faced any setbacks. The recovery is taking longer than expected, but he is making progress.
Christian Wood (Out – Knee)
Wood remains out after undergoing knee surgery in the offseason. He suffered a setback in his rehab process and will be out for at least three more weeks.
Magic Injury Report
Paolo Banchero (Out – Right Oblique)
Magic star Paolo Banchero remains out with a torn right oblique. Banchero’s absence remains difficult for Orlando, as he’s their best player.
Kentavious Caldwell-Pope (Out – Personal Reasons)
Former Laker Kentavious Caldwell-Pope is out on Thursday for personal reasons. Gary Harris will start in his place.
Wendell Carter Jr. (Out – Left Foot Plantar Fasciitis)
Wendell Carter Jr. will miss Thursday’s contest. Goga Bitadze will start in his place.
