Injury Report: Lakers at Timberwolves

The Lakers will face the Minnesota Timberwolves and look to improve on their 13-11 record and rebound from recent road struggles.

Lakers Injury Report

C Anthony Davis (Active/ Left plantar fasciitis)

He is likely to play but may be monitored closely for any symptoms of discomfort.

G Austin Reaves (Active/ Left pelvic contusion)

Austin Reaves, a probable return from a pelvic contusion, is expected to contribute significantly to the Lakers’ lineup, bolstering playmaking and shooting efforts.

F LeBron James (Out / Left foot soreness)

LeBron James is out for the game against the Timberwolves due to left foot soreness, giving him eight days off to recharge.

C Jaxson Hayes (Out / Right ankle sprain/contusion)

Hayes has only suited up once since re-aggravated an ankle injury, and head coach JJ Redick has not provided an update on his status. Hayes’ recovery time is uncertain.

G Jalen Hood-Schifino (Out / Left hamstring strain)

Hood-Schifino is ruled out for Friday’s Timberwolves game due to a left hamstring strain, a persistent injury this season. Despite averaging 7.0 minutes per game, his absence shouldn’t disrupt the rotation.

F Jarred Vanderbilt (Out / Foot)

During rehab, Vanderbilt experienced fluid in his left knee after undergoing foot surgery this offseason.

F Christian Wood (Out / Knee)

According to Redick, there is no update on Wood’s recovery. Thus, the Lakers’ big-man rotation will continue to suffer.

G Bronny James (Currently with the South Bay Lakers)

Bronny James returned to the South Bay Lakers after an injury, scoring a career-high 30 points

Timberwolves Injury Report

G Joe Ingles (Out/ Left calf strain)

Ingles is scheduled to miss his tenth consecutive game due to a left soleus strain.
