Injury Report: Lakers vs Clippers
Your Los Angeles Lakers will return to the court tonight to play the Clippers for the second time in two games. On Friday, the Lakers beat the Clippers at home to further their lead in the standings.
Tonight, the Lakers have the chance to claim the 2nd seed with a win. That would be the team’s highest seeding since 2020.

It is always tough to beat a team twice in a row. It is even more challenging to do so without two starters and a legitimate role player. Tonight will not be an easy win, but expect them to seize the opportunity with the 2nd-seed on the line and blood in the Western Conference waters.
Lakers Injury Report
LeBron James (Available – left foot injury management)
We will probably see LeBron James on the injury report for the rest of the way out. It’s clear that it isn’t bothering him.
Since turning 40, LeBron has been putting up similar or better statistics in every metric when you compare it to his last MVP season with Miami. Father Time is incredibly washed at this point when it comes to James.
Luka Doncic (Available – left calf injury management)
Luka is still managing the calf injury that kept him out for the longest stretch of his career. As he continues to recover and ramp up, we can expect to see an uptick in his three-point shooting efficiency.
Jordan Goodwin (Out – right shoulder soreness)
Jordan Goodwin has been a shot of energy that has fit seamlessly with this team. His rebounding and defensive efforts have spread to the rest of the team, and Goodwin himself has nearly earned himself a full roster spot. He will be missed tonight.
Austin Reaves (Out – right calf strain)
According to Shams Charania of ESPN, Austin Reaves will be day-to-day after an MRI on his right calf revealed no serious injury, sources tell ESPN.
Rui Hachimura (Out – left patellar tendinopathy)
JJ Redick told the media on February 28th that Rui is set to be re-evaluated in a week due to his knee injury.
Maxi Kleber (Out – right foot surgery recovery)
Kleber has not played a game for the Lakers to this point, and it would be surprising to see that change anytime soon.
Clippers Injury Report
Norman Powell (Available – Left Patellar Tendinopathy)
The Clippers will be getting back Norman Powell tonight, who did not play on Friday night. Powell is one of the top contenders for the 6th Man of the Year award and is having a near career year.
Ben Simmons (Out – left knee soreness)
Derrick Jones Jr. (Out – right groin strain)
