Lakers vs. Pelicans Injury Report

The Lakers (38-21) will take on the New Orleans Pelicans (17-44) at Crypto.com Arena on Tuesday, March 4th. The Lakers have been on fire despite many injuries on the injury report, while the Pelicans continue to struggle with the season-ending loss of two key players.

Lakers Injury Report

Rui Hachimura (Knee – Out)

Hachimura is still dealing with a knee injury that was suffered in February, which eventually was diagnosed as a left patellar tendinopathy.

He is scheduled to be re-evaluated in one week, so the timeline for return is currently unknown. Hachimura is averaging 13/5/2 in 50 games played this season.

Maxi Kleber (Foot – Out)

The often-forgotten part of the Luka Doncic trade, Kleber is still recovering from a broken foot suffered in January. He is expected to be back around late March when the Lakers begin their playoff push.

Jordan Goodwin (Ankle – Out)

Goodwin suffered a mild ankle sprain last Friday against the Clippers and has been ruled out for the second consecutive game. While there is no timetable for his return, he is expected back soon.

Luka Doncic (Knee – Probable)

Doncic is really starting to heat up in LA but is currently dealing with a knee contusion suffered last game against the Clippers.

He returned to the game and proceeded to put up 29 points and nine assists, so chances are that he will be able to play Tuesday.

Austin Reaves (Calf – Out)

After missing last week’s game with a calf strain, Reaves remains out heading into Tuesday’s game. The strain, suffered Friday against the Clippers, is considered a day-to-day injury. He could return on Thursday against the New York Knicks.

LeBron James (Foot – Probable)

James has been dealing with some discomfort in his foot for a while, which even led to him sitting out the All-Star game this year. However, he has continued to play through it in the regular season and will likely do so tonight.

Pelicans Injury Report

Dejounte Murray (Leg – Out For Season)

A key star for the Pelicans lineup, Murray suffered a season-ending Achilles tear in January. He was averaging 17/7/6 before the injury and will take several months to recover. This may lead to Murray missing time in the 2025-2026 season as well.

Herbert Jones (Shoulder – Out For Season)

Like Murray, Herbert Jones also suffered a season-ending injury back in January, as he tore his rotator cuff and proceeded to have surgery. He was averaging 10/4/3 before getting hurt.

Brandon Boston Jr. (Ankle – Questionable)

Boston Jr has missed nine consecutive appearances due to a nagging ankle injury suffered in January. He was upgraded to questionable for the first time in a while, indicating he might play tonight.
