Injury Report: Lakers vs Clippers
Following a game that the Brooklyn Nets took down to the wire, the Los Angeles Lakers (22-17) are back on the court tonight against the Los Angeles Clippers (23-17). Tonight will be the Lakers’ first opportunity since 1999 to play in Los Angeles, but not at Crypto.com arena.

However, it’s the first time since March of 1999 that one LA team hosted the other LA team in their own arena.

There are quite a few players listed as questionable tonight on both teams, making it unclear if we will get The Battle of Los Angeles at full power. Regardless of who is in or out for either team, tonight is a massive game for the Lakers, as a win would leapfrog them over the Clippers to the fifth seed.
Lakers Injury Report
LeBron James (Probable – left foot injury management)
At this point in the season, we will probably see LeBron James on the injury report the rest of the way out. With the rest from All-Star Weekend, we may see a brief hiatus from the report, but even managing the injury, nobody in Laker land is complaining about his recent play.
Anthony Davis (Questionable – right calf soreness)
Anthony Davis, who missed their last game against Brooklyn, will look to return tonight against their cross-town rivals. JJ Redick has said he expects AD to play, which would help drastically. Since joining the Lakers, Davis has averaged 23.3 points, 9.1 rebounds, and 1.3 blocks in games against the Clippers.
Jaxson Hayes (Questionable – right shoulder soreness)
With AD also being questionable going into tonight, the Lakers will have to hope one of them can go. With a rotation of just Koloko and Jemison lll, Zubac, while questionable, would have a field day.
Christian Wood (Out – left knee surgery recovery)
Wood remains out as he recovers from his offseason left knee surgery.
Jarred Vanderbilt (Out – Right foot surgery recovery)
Vanderbilt will still be out with his foot injury from this summer. Vanderbilt has been practicing with the South Bay Lakers and Lakers coaching staff alike.
Jalen Hood-Schifino (Out – left hamstring strain)
Clippers Injury Report
James Harden (Questionable – illness)
Clippers star guard James Harden is questionable with an illness.
Ivica Zubac (Questionable – low back soreness)
The former Laker Zubac has had a nice season for the Clippers, averaging 14.9 points and 12.5 rebounds.
Norman Powell (Questionable – low back soreness)
Norman Powell, who’s in the midst of a career year, is questionable with low back soreness.
Kris Dunn (Questionable – left knee soreness)
Defensive guard Kris Dunn is questionable with left knee soreness.
PJ Tucker (Out – not with team)
Forward PJ Tucker is out as he remains away from the team.
