Injury Report: Lakers vs Heat

The Lakers currently sit at 4-2 and are in the midst of a two-game win streak and will look to keep things going tonight against the Miami Heat.

In their last game, Los Angeles was led by Luka Doncic, who scored a game-high 44 points with 12 rebounds in the NBA Cup Tournament win against the Memphis Grizzlies.

Lakers injury report

DeAndre Ayton (Probable- Back Spasms)

Ayton will suit up tonight as he has not missed any practice time.

LeBron James (Out- Right Sciatica)

James still does not have a clear timeline on when he will return to action. The hope is that he will come back at some point this month.

Maxi Kleber (Out- Abdominal Muscle Strain)

Kleber is scheduled to be re-evaluated this week, and the team should have a clearer idea of when he will be able to return to the lineup.

Adou Thiero (Out- Left Knee Surgery Recovery)

Thiero has been cleared for on-court work and was recently recalled from the Lakers’ G-League affiliate, the South Bay Lakers.

Gabe Vincent (Out- Left Ankle Sprain)

Vincent will miss two to four weeks with this injury.

 

Heat injury report

Norman Powell (Questionable- Groin)

Powell will go through pre-game warmups, and the team will decide on his availability.

Kasparas Jakucionis (Out- Right Groin Strain)

He has yet to make his in-season debut due to this injury, and there is no timetable for his return.

Terry Rozier (Out- Not With Team)

Rozier is on leave from the Miami Heat and the league as a whole due to the recent FBI case surrounding illegal gambling.

Tyler Herro (Out- Foot/Ankle)

Herro is scheduled to be re-evaluated in 4-6 weeks, but reports from the team indicate that he is ahead of schedule in the recovery process.
