Injury Report: Lakers at Grizzlies

The Lakers are navigating through a series of injuries, and tonight’s lineup will reflect several key absences and elevated responsibilities for the remaining rotation. Here is the injury report for the Lakers vs. the Grizzlies. 

Luka Doncic and Marcus Smart have been both upgraded to probable for tonight’s game in Memphis, per the Lakers.

Lakers Injury Report

Luka Dončić – (Probable – left finger sprain & left leg contusion)

Dončić is now probable today, ahead of tonight’s game. He’s still managing both a finger sprain and a contusion in his left leg.

Marcus Smart – (Probable – right quadriceps contusion)

Smart is probable for tonight’s game following a quad contusion he suffered earlier.

LeBron James – (Out – right sciatica)

James is still out with a right-sided sciatica condition and will be reevaluated in the coming weeks. He won’t play tonight and is doing his rehab work off the court.

Maxi Kleber – (Out – oblique/abdominal strain)

Kleber remains sidelined with an abdominal/oblique strain, and there’s no return date listed yet. His absence continues to thin out the front-court depth.

Gabe Vincent – (Out – left ankle sprain)

Vincent is out recovering from a left ankle sprain. He’s off the court and rehabbing, so he won’t be available for tonight’s game.

Adou Thiero – (Out – left knee surgery recovery)

The rookie Thiero remains out as he continues his recovery process from knee surgery. Thiero has recently been approved for 5v5 practice. 

 

Grizzlies Injury Report

Zach Edey – (Out – Ankle Surgery Recovery)

Edey is still sidelined after undergoing ankle surgery, limiting the Grizzlies’ front-court depth and rim protection.

Brandon Clarke – (Out – Right Knee)

Clarke continues to rehab his knee issue and remains unavailable for the time being.

Scotty Pippen Jr. – (Out – Left Big Toe Surgery)

Pippen Jr. is recovering from toe surgery and will miss an extended period, which impacts the team’s guard rotation.

Ty Jerome – (Out – Right Calf Strain)

Jerome is sidelined with a calf strain and will have to recover before returning to action. This weakens their backcourt depth.

Vince Williams Jr. – (Questionable – Right Ankle Impingement)

Williams carries a questionable tag with an ankle issue and could play a limited role if cleared before the game.

Santi Aldama – (Questionable – Left Shoulder Soreness)
