Injury Report: Nuggets @ Lakers

After losing four straight, the Lakers look to be back on track as they have won two games in a row. Los Angeles is coming off a 125-109 win against San Antonio. Tonight, the Lakers host the Nuggets after playing two in Denver earlier this season.

Lakers Injury Report

Rui Hachimura (OUT- Left Patellar Tendinopathy)

Hachimura has missed quite a few games, but JJ Redick announced that he has been participating in 3v3 drills during practice. The return is near for Hachimura, so look for updates in the coming days.

LeBron James (OUT- Left Groin Strain)

James has been out for about two weeks. The Lakers are being extra cautious with James due to his age, and the playoffs are right around the corner. James should also be back in the lineup very soon.

Maxi Kleber (OUT- Right Foot Surgery Recovery)

Kleber will continue to miss time for the Lakers. Redick has no updates regarding Kleber’s return to play.

Trey Jemison (Questionable- Illness)

Jemison has missed some time due to catching an illness. He was upgraded on the injury report to Questionable, which could be a good sign of his availability tonight.

Nuggets Injury Report

Nikola Jokic (OUT- Right Elbow Contusion/Left Ankle Impingement)

Jokic did not play in the loss against the Warriors. The Nuggets are in the race for the 2nd seed in the West. He did not go through pre-game warmups, and the team will make a decision on his status for tonight’s game.

Jamal Murray (OUT- Right Ankle Sprain)

Murray suffered an ankle injury against the Warriors. He tested his ankle in pre-game warmups but was said to have been struggling to move.

Christian Braun (Questionable- Left Foot Inflammation)

Braun missed the team’s previous game against the Warriors. He is expected to play, as Mike Malone informed the media.

Julian Strawther (OUT- Left Knee Sprain) 

Strawther has been a depth piece off the bench for Denver. He suffered a knee sprain back on March 2 and is expected to be re-evaluated in two weeks.
