Injury Report: Pelicans @ Lakers

Tonight, the Lakers take on the New Orleans Pelicans, but they will do so shorthanded.

LeBron James (Out- Foot) 

James will sit this one out as the Lakers are in the first game of a back-to-back, so this designation should come as no concern.

Marcus Smart (Out- Back Spasms)

Smart will miss his second straight game as he is currently nursing some back pain.

 

Pelicans injury report

Jordan Poole (Out- Quadriceps)

Poole has resumed basketball activities but still has no timetable for his return.

Herbert Jones (Out- Calf)

Jones was diagnosed with a mild right calf strain and is expected to be re-evaluated this week.

Dejounte Murray (Out- Achilles)

Murray is still in recovery from an Achilles tear and is not expected to return this season.

Trey Murphy III (Questionable- Elbow)

Murphy III did not play in last night’s game against the Warriors but may be making his return tonight against Los Angeles.

Jordan Hawkins (Questionable- Illness)

Hawkins has been battling an illness and will go through pre-game activities before making a decision on his game status.
