The Lakers are in the midst of their first back-to-back this season and will go into tonight very shorthanded. They are coming off a 127-120 win against the Kings, led by a career-best performance from Austin Reaves, who finished with 51 points, 11 rebounds, and nine assists.

Luka Doncic (Out- Left Finger Sprain and Left Leg Contusion)
Doncic will be missing his second straight game tonight and is looking to return in a week after starting the season averaging 46 points, 11.5 rebounds, and 8.5 assists.
Jaxson Hayes (Out- Left Patellar Tendinopathy)
Hayes is nursing some knee soreness, and Deandre Ayton will start while Christian Koloko will be playing backup center tonight.
LeBron James (Out- Right Sciatica)
James will be reevaluated in a few weeks. With James and Doncic out, Reaves will continue ball-handling duties.
Adou Thiero (Out- Left Knee Surgery Recovery)
The Lakers’ rookie is still recovering from a recent surgery. He is nearing a return and will bring much-provided defense and athleticism off the bench.
Gabe Vincent (Out- Left Ankle Sprain)
Vincent suffered an ankle sprain in last night’s win in Sacramento. He underwent X-rays, and the results of those came back negative. He is currently in a walking boot.
Marcus Smart (Out- Right Quad Contusion)
Smart exited the game last night after taking a bump. He will sit out tonight, and the Lakers will miss his presence defensively against a young Portland team.

Lillard will miss this season and look to return in time for the 2026 season.
