The Los Angeles Lakers have traded the 55th overall pick and cash to the Chicago Bulls for the 45th overall pick in the draft.
The Lakers’ moving up in the second round makes a lot of sense, as they did not have a first-round pick in the draft.
Rob Pelinka and the front office have had success finding gems in the second round in the past, including Max Christie in the 2022 NBA Draft.
This is a great move by Pelinka, as LA could add a more impactful player in the second round by moving up 10 spots.
