The deal had sent Dalton Knecht, Cam Reddish, a 2030 first-round pick swap, and a 2031 first-round pick for Williams.
Williams was expected to be the future center in LA as a lob threat, rim protector, and rebounder alongside Luka Doncic.
With the deal rescinded, the Lakers will have Knecht back on the team. However, their lack of depth at center could be costly.
