Lakers vs Jazz: Latest Injury Report for Sunday’s Game
The Los Angeles Lakers are set to face the Utah Jazz tonight for the second time in the last five days. The Lakers are coming off a much-needed four-day break, last playing on Tuesday when they defeated Utah 140–126.
That game marked LeBron James’ season debut, and Los Angeles will look to continue building rhythm with him back in the lineup. As tipoff approaches, here’s who’s in and who’s out for both teams.
Lakers Injury Update
Los Angeles comes into tonight with a mostly clean slate on the health front. The only players listed as unavailable are tied to G League development assignments, meaning the core rotation remains fully intact.
-
Bronny James Jr. — Out (G League assignment)
-
Adou Thiero — Out (G League assignment)
With the main roster available, the Lakers have a valuable opportunity to continue adjusting to LeBron’s return and strengthening team cohesion.

Jazz Injury Notes
Utah has two notable players ruled out for tonight’s matchup:
-
Georges Niang — Out (Left foot)
-
Walker Kessler — Out (Shoulder)
Kessler’s injury sidelines him for the rest of the season, while Niang will undergo another evaluation in 10–14 days.
With only a few names listed on tonight’s injury report, both teams should enter the matchup close to full strength. For the Lakers, this is another valuable opportunity to continue building chemistry and flow—especially with one of the greatest players of all time back on the floor.
