Lakers vs Thunder Game 1 Injury Report

The Los Angeles Lakers and Oklahoma City Thunder enter Game 1 of the 2026 NBA Playoff Semifinals dealing with key injuries on both sides. With the stakes higher and the margin for error smaller, these absences could play a major role in how the series opens.

Lakers Injury Report

Luka Doncic (Grade 2 hamstring strain) – OUT

Luka Doncic is still out of action due to his Grade 2 hamstring strain, and there still does not appear to be a clear timetable for his return. His absence continues to leave a significant gap in the Lakers’ offensive production heading into Game 1.

Thunder Injury Report

Jalen Williams (hamstring strain) – OUT

Thomas Sorber (torn ACL) – OUT

For Oklahoma City, rising star forward Jalen Williams will be out for Game 1 due to a hamstring strain of his own. Reserve center Thomas Sorber also remains out with a torn ACL that has kept him sidelined all season.
