Lakers vs. Wizards Injury Report
The Los Angeles Lakers (48-26) have the chance to make it 12 wins out of their last 13 games as they take on the Washington Wizards (17-57) on Monday.
Los Angeles will be short-handed in the matchup while they look to adjust without Luka Doncic.
Lakers Injury Report
Luka Doncic – Out (suspension)
Doncic received his 16th technical foul of the season in Friday’s win over the Brooklyn Nets. Because of league policy, the NBA’s leader in points per game (33.7) won’t be available for the Lakers.
Marcus Smart – Out (right ankle contusion)
Smart will miss his fourth straight game on Monday while continuing to recover from a right ankle contusion.
Adou Thiero – Out (left knee injury management)
The Lakers continue to limit the 2025 draft pick this season while he continues to recover from a right MCL sprain he suffered in December. He will miss his third straight game.
Wizards Injury Report
Alex Sarr – Questionable (left big toe injury management)
Sarr was a late addition to the Wizards’ injury report on Monday while monitoring a toe injury. His status will be updated closer to tipoff.
Bilal Coulibaly – Questionable (right retrocalcaneal bursitis)
After a struggling shooting performance on Sunday, Coulibaly has a chance of sitting out of Washington’s second half of a back-to-back.
Anthony Gill – Questionable (right ankle soreness)
Gill might also be joining a group of players who are sitting out of the Wizards’ second half of a back-to-back.
Julian Reese – Questionable (G League)
Despite showing great production in the limited playing time for the Wizards this season, Reese is still spending the majority of his time in the G League.
Leaky Black – Questionable (G League)
The Wizards may continue to keep Black in the G League as well for their matchup against the Lakers.
Trae Young – Out (back pain/quad contusion)
Young will miss his eighth straight game on Monday while Washington continues to remain cautious in his recovery from lingering quad and back issues.
Anthony Davis – Out (left finger sprain)
Washington said earlier this month that Davis will remain out for the duration of March. It’s uncertain if one of the Wizards’ new superstars will make his team debut at some point in 2025-26.
Kyshawn George – Out (left elbow sprain)
George is dealing with a Grade 2 distal UCL tear in his left elbow. Washington is set to re-evaluate him later this week.
D’Angelo Russell – Out (not with team)
