In his 21st season, James averaged 26/7/8 with 1.3 steals per game on 54/41/75 shooting splits.
The 39-year-old will likely return to the Lakers on a longer deal, but he is an unrestricted free agent as of now.
James has supported the Lakers’ moves this offseason, including hiring JJ Redick as their head coach and drafting his son Bronny James.
There have been rumors of James taking a pay cut, but he could opt to re-sign on a three-year max deal.
